2008 APRILIA RXV 550 Very low miles. Factory black sealant engine was just serviced including valve check/adjustment, flywheel screws loctited and stator cover oil seal replaced. All fresh fluids, new oil filter, spark plugs, fuel pump and battery. Fully derestricted and correctly set up with the latest USA full power mapping. It has a few light scratches on the plastics but the inside is like new. This bike was never titled but comes with a clear Manufacturers Certificate of Origin just like any new motorcycle. |

Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Piaggio Group reported a 7.3% decrease in net sales and a 9.0% decrease in net profit for 2012, thanks in large part to a sharp decline in demand in Europe including an all-time low for motorcycle sales in Italy. Piaggio reported net sales of 1.406 billion euros (US$1.842 billion) in 2012, down from 1.516 billion euros in 2011. Motorcycles and scooters accounted for net sales of 993.3 million euros (US$1.301 billion), a 3.1% decrease from 1.025 billion euros reported for 2011.

As with the RSV4 X, the Tuono version is designed only for track use and will be produced in very limited numbers. Only 10 units of the RSV4 X were made, and all were scooped up in a few hours after online orders were opened, but Aprilia hasn’t announced how many Tuono V4 X models will be made.
