Aprilia RSV4 R APRC ABS description
2013 Aprilia RSV4 R APRC ABS, 2013 Aprilia RSV4 R APRC ABS - From the time it appeared on the scene, it was clear to all its rivals that the Aprilia RSV4 was the bike to beat. Unmistakable in its design lucidity and applied technology, the RSV4 is conceived around a 65 degree V4 engine never before seen on a factory sport bike, a frame which is the heir to a dynasty that has won 18 titles and 143 Grand Prix races in the 250 GP class, enhanced by the most advanced applied electronics systems to manage the engine and the bikes dynamic performance. This is a true vocation of Aprilia, which was the first manufacturer to adopt the Ride By Wire system as standard equipment (the multi-map power management system), but above all the first to patent the APRC dynamic control system, still today the only one with the exclusive self-calibration and wheelie control features. This technological first is consolidated today with the MY2013 range: Aprilia RSV4 R ABS and Factory ABS are the models which, for the quantity and quality of new content and improvements, undoubtedly represent the most important advancements ever made on this extraordinary model. RSVP from an RSV4
Wed, 08 Sep 2010Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.
2021 Aprilia Tuono 660 - First Look
Fri, 26 Feb 2021Official details on Aprilia's baby Tuono The obvious choice to follow-up the RS660 in Aprilia’s lineup, the Noale-based factory has now officially released details on the 2021 Tuono 660. Taking a page from the RSV4/Tuono V4 playbook, the smaller siblings share the same relation, as the Tuono 660 is essentially a “stripped down” version of its RS brother, meant first and foremost to be ridden on the street.Everything You Want To Know About The Aprilia RS660 (Except What It’s Like To Ride) We use quotes around stripped down because, just like the V4 Tuono, there’s still quite a bit of plastic to be found with the Tuono 660, including the double fairing up front with the hidden winglets. What’s interesting is that, during the RS660 press briefing, Aprilia downplayed the winglet’s downforce effect and played up rider comfort, saying the winglets were primarily to channel hot air from the engine away from the rider.
