Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Wed, 17 Jun 2009The Aprilia Mana 850 was introduced to the U.S. in July 2008, the Aprilia Mana 850GT was first seen at INTERMOT last November. The GT version is also equipped with “Autodrive” that has three different mappings: Touring, Sport, and Rain or can switch to a seven-speed manual shift without a clutch, the GT’s biggest addition is a half-fairing with an adjustable windshield and a 2-channel Continental ABS system (850GT ABS). Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
