GIVE YOURSELF THE CHRISTMAS PRESENT YOU REALLY WANT!!!!This is the legendary 250cc X-6 Hustler from Suzuki!  This is one of the nicest, most complete 1966 T20 Suzuki motorcycles you will ever see.  It is in original condition, unrestored, and shows little of the age and wear that you would usually expect for a bike that is 50 years old.  It starts quick and easy, runs great, and shifts smoothly through all six gears.  It is all original and includes; tire pump (see it on photo of right side of bike, just behind the right side cover),tool pouch with tools; owners manual; shop manual; Clymer manual, locking fuel cap, original key for ignition and fork lock, separate key for locking fuel cap; and a battery tender to keep the battery charged and ready to go.  I hold clear title to this bike.   I was in the 10th grade when this bike was new and had it's little brother (150cc twin) when I went to high school.  I have owned this bike for about 10 years and have really enjoyed it.  The distinct 2-stroke sound, smell, and torque instantly transports me to an earlier time.  It is a lot of fun to ride and could be a daily driver for you.  The chrome is bright and rust free; the paint is original and very nice, there are some scratches to the fenders that you can see in the photos.  It has the appropriate level of smoke with running and runs strong and smooth.   The front/rear brakes work as they should; headlight and taillight work, and the horn works as well.  The only issues for the bike are; the kick-starter return spring doesn't work.  The kick starter works fine, always engages, and starts the bike usually on the 2nd or 3rd kick.  The kick starter doesn't spring back and I use a bungee cord to solve that issue.  It also leaks a little oil as bikes this age are prone to do.  You could ride this bike as it is or it would also be a great candidate for restoration if that is of interest to you.  I am not a motorcycle mechanic but I have owned many bikes over time.  This is a great bike and I know of no other issues, either now or pending that I haven't mentioned.   From its condition, I believe that this bike is a Colorado bike and has been consistently garaged when not being ridden.  Bid with confidence as this is a great opportunity for a rare bike.   I will not haul or deliver this bike but I will help you, or your shipper, load the bike.  I have additional photos and will answer any questions.

2024 Aprilia RS457 Review – First Ride

Fri, 29 Mar 2024

A refreshing gateway drug into the world of Aprilia Photos: Alex Photo Picture it: you’re a new or newer sport rider who aspires to own an Aprilia. You could go with the RSV4, which you ultimately want to graduate to eventually, but it’s a terrible idea to get one right off the bat. The RS660 could be a decent choice, depending on your abilities, comfort level, and talent.

2024 Aprilia RS 660 Extrema Review

Thu, 28 Dec 2023

Track trickster Photos by Aprilia Aprilia’s measured but inexorable rise to the front of the MotoGP pack in recent months, with two victories in three races plus a Sprint race win, all inside the space of 30 days, has reaffirmed the Piaggio-owned brand’s sporting credentials at the highest level. [Unfortunately for them, this was the extent of Aprilia’s race wins for the year -TS] It’s also served as a parting testimony to the late Roberto Colaninno, Chairman/CEO of Piaggio who passed away on August 19, just days after his 80th birthday and a fortnight after Aleix Espargaró’s Silverstone race victory saw Aprilia turn the tables on its Ducati rivals. For stock market wheeler-dealer Colaninno deserves credit for taking his eye off the balance sheet long enough to give Aprilia’s race team sufficient budget to elbow aside big spenders Ducati and KTM in a successful drive for MotoGP glory.

Aprilia Tuareg: 5 Things You Need to Know

Church of MO: 2003 Best of the Best

Sun, 22 Jan 2023

By John Burns Now we need a good reason and a Master Plan: 20 years ago we just needed three cool motorcycles and an open invitation to California Speedway (which I hear just hosted its last trackday. RIP.) Earlier we’d already deduced the Kawasaki ZX-6R was the best 600, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 was the best 1000, and the Aprilia Mille R was the best Twin (and the one you most wish you’d embezzled). So why not compare them all to each other?

2023 Aprilia RS660 Extrema First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

The RS660 goes on a diet thanks to SC Project and some carbon fiber. Aprilia is celebrating the success of the RS660 worldwide (and claiming it’s the best-selling sportbike in Europe) with this – the RS660 Extrema, the sportiest version of the RS660 family. The name is modeled after that of the Aprilia 125 Extrema, one of the highest-performing and fastest eighth-liter bikes ever, manufactured from 1992 to 1994.

Aprilia Looks To The Future With The ELECTRICa Project

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

This supermoto-ish-looking thing is Aprilia‘s “vision of mobility for the youngest riders of the near future.” So, forget Millenials or even Gen Z, this Aprilia ELECTRICa project is aimed at Generation Alpha – a cohort of kids who, at the oldest end of the spectrum, are currently in junior high school. Church of MO: 2012 Literbike Streetfighter Shootout - With Video!

Sun, 16 Oct 2022

Ten years ago, Tommy, Trizzle, and the Duke were feeling their oats as they manned about town on a trio of naked torpedoes. “When it came to forming a mental picture of riding one or the other, we also agreed the sexy Speed Triple will pick up more chicks than the Aprilia. The Tuono’s manufacturer claimed it was for “the rider who, given the chance, would use a race bike just to go for a coffee.” Meanwhile, the MV Agusta’s combination of short wheelbase and mid-range torque keeps the Brutale’s front wheel in the air, aided by the shortest overall ratios in the first two gears.

Aprilia Introduces The Most Extreme RSV4 Yet - The XTrenta

Fri, 02 Sep 2022

An RSV4 with MotoGP levels of aero, including the under wing. To celebrate 30 years since Aprilia won its first world championship title, Aprilia (or, more appropriately, the racing division) is introducing this, the RSV4 Xtrenta. Encompassing the same basic profile the RSV4 has carried since its birth over a decade ago, the Xtrenta is defined by the level of aerodynamic work the Noale factory has applied from its MotoGP program.

Showdown: 2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660 Vs. Yamaha Tenere 700

Middleweight adventure bikes duke it out on a 2,000 mile tour Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Sean Matic As we motored slaunchways across Utah, the late daylight stretched our shadows and cast golden hues against the tall canyon walls, further accentuating the contrast between the rust colored ancient seabeds peppered with lush green juniper and muted sage. The lavender sky over Bryce faded as we continued westward on Hwy 12. Refusing to pack a second visor for my Shoei Hornet X2, I lifted the dark smoke shield as I led our crew into the dark dense forest, keeping my line of sight just above the Ténéré’s windscreen in an attempt to protect my peepers from the onslaught of kamikaze insects.

Church of MO: 2002 Aprilia Mille R

Sun, 12 Jun 2022

Photos by Robert Pandya Shut UP, no way was this 20 years ago! Maybe this 2002 Aprilia Mille R stands out in memory because the year after 911 was so uneventful? First we invaded Afghanistan, then Congress approved the Iraq War Resolution – and Dick Cheney was acting POTUS for a few glorious hours while George W.
