2007 Aprilia Rxv 550, Don't pass up this chance to own this rare Italian exotic dirt motorcycle. The RXV (imported only in 07-09.), is one of the most powerful enduro machines every made. With 70bhp from its 550 V-twin power plant, there are few bikes out there that can match its performance. Weighing in at 268lb dry, its within 10lbs of the more mundane enduros like a KTM 500, 525, 530 EXC, or Yamaha WR450 but with significantly more power. This bike is also plated and is a blast to ride on the road, a must for hooking together interrupted sections of dirt. Best of all, this bike is fuel injected, no more re-jetting, or adjusting needles as you ride from the valley floor to the top of the highest western peaks (Ive ridden up to 11,000 with flawless fueling). And the RXV features electric start (the happy button is wonderful). This bike is expertly setup for enduro and is in need of nothing. WSBK: 2012 Brno Results
Mon, 23 Jul 2012Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
De Puniet, Espargaro to Ride Aprilia-powered Aspar CRT MotoGP Racebike
Fri, 25 Nov 2011The Aspar racing team announced the signing of Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaró to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship on a CRT racebike powered by Aprilia engines. De Puniet (pictured above with his Playboy model girlfriend Lauren Vickers) rode a mystery race bike for Aspar this week at a MotoGP test, believed to be a modified version of Aprilia‘s WSBK-spec RSV4 with MotoGP-issue Bridgestone tires and carbon brakes. CRT rules require the use of a prototype chassis, so the Aspar machine cannot use the RSV4′s chassis.
848 Challenge returns to Brands

The 848 Challenge was the talk of the BSB paddock last year due to the close and exciting racing that transfixed audiences throughout the eight rounds as every one of the sixteen races went down to the wire. The successful format of the Ducati 848 Challenge continues with eight rounds and sixteen races, including six British Superbike rounds and two overseas rounds.
