The Aprilia Mana 850 was introduced to the U.S. in July 2008, the Aprilia Mana 850GT was first seen at INTERMOT last November.  The GT version is also equipped with “Autodrive” that has three different mappings: Touring, Sport, and Rain or can switch to a seven-speed manual shift without a clutch, the GT’s biggest addition is a half-fairing with an adjustable windshield and a 2-channel Continental ABS system (850GT ABS). Max Biaggi opens up to former 250GP rival Jamie Robinson on his 20 years at the top flight of motorcycle racing. Surprisingly, Max grew up in a home without motorcycles and didn't even come in contact with a racetrack until he was 18 years old. Visiting the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, he became hooked on the sight, smell and sounds of racing and with the help of his father, put everything into his dream of becoming a world champion - something he would achieve several years later by becoming a 250GP champion with Aprilia in 1994.

Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.
