Aprilia Other description

For sale is my 2000 Aprilia Mille with 38,5xx miles. It does have some rash on the right side that the previous owner repaired reasonably well. I have almost all replacement fairings. Please do not think that is has a lot of miles, because Rotax motors run forever with little maintenance. It has a lot of aftermarket parts on it: hi-performance chip, shotgun race mufflers (no baffles-it's loud), BMC air filter, adjustable rear sets, Pazzo adjustable levers, Evo clutch slave cylinder, front turn signals integrated into mirrors, woodcraft 2" bar risers w/bars (have extra set of new black bars) with new custom Galfer front brake hose, Galfer rear wave rotor w/brand new pads, frame sliders. Also included is rear seat and pegs. Comes with extras like a tinted windshield, stock brake hose and clip-ons, grips, owner's manual and shop manual, oil filter, rear stand and probably some other stuff. Recent full service with 15-40 Motul. Has Michelin Pilots with at least 1/2 tread. This bike is fast, and not for a beginner. Test with cash in hand and valid lic. Have title and will have a full tank of gas. Thanks Rick NO TRADES!! Price is firm

2013 Aprilia Caponord 1200 Review – First Impressions

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

Aprilia is going after Ducati‘s Multistrada big time with the new Caponord 1200. It’s taken the V-Twin from its Dorsoduro 1200 model and tuned it for touring perfection with torque in all the right places. The Caponord 1200 is comfortable with a not too high seat and very good ergonomics.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.

Used Review: Gaerne G-ike boots

Fri, 01 Jan 2010

This is Gaerne’s entry-level boot and I’ve been wearing it mainly as a commuting tool over the last year and a half. It’s a good-looking boot that looks like a trainer under jeans and is as comfortable as one too.  The G-Ike has plenty of support in the heel from a steel plate in the sole and plenty of thick plastic around the ankle.  I know for a fact having come off an Aprilia Shiver in these that they provide a fair amount of protection though not enough to stop me twisting an ankle. But they’ve held up really well and I’m still happy wearing them though not for winter as they’re far from waterproof and a tad drafty for sub-zero days.
