1978 Yamaha XS (1978)
Selling my 1978 Yamaha XS1100F bike, the bike has been kept in storage under cover most of its life and has been sitting ever since we got it from its original owner. The bike was involved in a collision which affected the left side of the engine. Besides breaking the cover over the bikes distributor, it doesn’t appear to have damaged anything else on the bike. A great bike.....only thing it needs is a right side muffler(has some rust out on the bottom)....starts and runs great....tires near new...lights all work as they should...high miles but I have a file from the original owner showing service and purchase records going back to when he purchased it new....seat was recovered professionally...paint does show sun fading but the chrome is very good for a bike of this age.........comes with the original owner manual and a book that is in a foreign language but has a lot of pictures....would not be afraid to ride the bike any where....open Illinois title....
