Aprilia Dorsoduro SMV750 description
This is one incredible bike. Being a serious buyer, I assume you have already done all the research on why this bike is a very fun to own as well as all its features. I know this listing has a lot of information. My hope is that it makes for a more informed purchase decision.
I am the second owner of the motorcycle. I purchased the bike used in December 2009 from a local Aprilia dealer with approximately 2,500 miles on the clock. I am an experienced rider and have been riding dirt bikes and motorcycles for 19 years. I am selling this motorcycle because my riding interests have recently shifted more to dualsport riding. I hate seeing this bike sit in my garage. I just put a new battery in it since the last one died due to sitting idle. This bike has really only needed oil changes and tires - surprisingly low maintenance for an Italian thoroughbred. I aim for a 3,000 mile interval on oil and filter although Aprilia claims you can go 6,000. Current oil/filter change has about 1,500 miles on it. Tires have approximately 3000 miles on them. Air filter is clean and all lights work. I flushed the cooling system in mid-2013. I have checked the valve clearances twice since I have owned it. Both times all clearances have been within spec - there is one intake valve on the front cylinder that is on the lower end of spec, but has not changed since I purchased the bike (likely set up from the factory at the lower end of spec). The stock chain and sprockets are still on the bike and are in good condition. Brake pads and suspension are in condition as well. I have the following aftermarket parts that will be included in the purchase:
Other:
I have a rear Trackside spool stand I can include in the purchase if desired. I also have a Pit Bull hybrid dual lift front stand for an additional $150 if interested Local pickup only. That pretty much sums it up. Thank you for looking. |

It's just an Aprilia RS3 Cube
Mon, 21 May 2012I never get tired of looking at Aprilia's RS3 Cube. I don't care about the fact it was a shit-or-bust gamble by Aprilia, that tarnished their almost immaculate GP reputation - infact that makes it even cooler. No-one expected Aprilia to enter a bike into the four-stroke category, their heritage in GP dictated that their interests lay in two-strokes, but what was more left-field than Aprilia's entry?
For sale? Zero-mile Aprilia RS250 Cup
Mon, 20 Jan 2014This zero-mile Aprilia RS250 Cup belongs to a former colleague of mine and he might be willing to sell it. Originally intended for the USA where they ran an RS250 Cup series, this bike was purchased from New Orleans and then shipped to the UK, where it's now in storage just outside of London. Due to the fact it's never turned a wheel in anger, it's something of a one-off.
Wesll Quad Prototype
Mon, 09 Feb 2009A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.
