American Ironhorse TEJ Motorcycles

Up for sale is my 1978 KZ1000.  I have owned the bike since 2009 and have performed all of the work myself and can answer any questions.  I have some of the receipts but not all and I also have some pictures of the engine when I was building it.  The bike has been together for around 6-7 years in its current form, so it has been tested and done correctly. The valvetrain has all been adjusted (measured and replaced the valve spring shims to obtain correct valve clearance), carbs have been rebuilt, synced, and re-jetted and the ignition system upgraded to solid state Dyna S components.  It sounds like a sewing machine when you’re cruising. I had the bike repainted a couple years ago.  It has a base/clear coat with the factory decals under the clear and sanded/buffed to look all one level.  The paint is not perfect but it’s very close.
