Kawasaki Other description

Up for sale is a 1976 Kawasaki 900 LTD, also known as a KZ 900B.  Most of you know that this is a one year production bike made in Lincoln NE in low numbers. This particular bike has not been restored.  It has been properly cared for and garaged it's whole life.  It is all original, except for the tires, handgrips, and chain.  It has also been painted to it's original color. However, there is a small defect in the paint on the tank which is barely noticeable.  All the chrome on the bike shines as if it was new, no corrosion or rust of any kind on this bike.  Since I have owned it I have added an electronic ignition and rebuilt the carburetors using an ultra sound machine and I replaced all the brass with OEM parts. I have owned many 900 Kawasaki's and this one is by far the nicest one in original condition. Everything works as it was new and by the picture you can see that it charges quite nicely.  The tires are near new and the bike has been serviced regularly with oil changes and valve adjustments.  I ride this bike several times a month and it is a joy to be on!  It turns a lot of heads and most people think it is a new motorcycle.  Last spring I entered it into a vintage motorcycle show where it took grand champion. This bike includes the original owners manual, tool kit and two keys.  I also have a clear title in my name.  This is by far one of the nicest LTD's that I have seen on eBay.

Wrestling the Green Meanie

Tue, 03 Aug 2010

A three cylinder, 750cc two-stroke contained in a double cradle, tubular frame with telescopic suspension made up the intimidating Kawasaki KR750, seen here ridden around the legendary Spa circuit. Remembering the KR750, named the 'Green Meanie', TT winner Mick Grant said: "The KR750 was not as bad as what people thought it was. It had a nice spread, with enormous power and mid-range torque.
