Kawasaki Z1 description

Bike is located in Pelham NH!  Great project bike....Bought this over a year ago with the intent of restoring. I bought from a gentleman who was in the process of restoring. Not sure whats all done to the bike. So I am going to sell as is and can't promise motor or anything else. A couple electrical items such as stator is missing. But again a good super base for restore. He went to the extent of painting the motor so not sure if he did motor etc... All cylinders have great compression. Bike is 90% complete and will or appear to make an easy restore or ride it as is.  I would start with tearing down to the bones and going from ground up but thats just me. Tires are weather cracked and will need to be replaced. will need an airbox, exhaust, and proper headlight and thats about it. All chrome is in good condition...no rust etc. wheels in good shape no rust etc. This will clean up well. Please feel free to ask questions. I am able to ship world wide as I own an export company or would be happy to help with the shipping within the USA.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim II Results

Mon, 06 Feb 2012

The 2012 AMA Supercross season is shaping up to be a tight one, with four racers and former champions healthy and jockeying for position on top of the points standings. Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart have all claimed wins in the first four rounds. After the second Anaheim round, the four contenders, representing four different manufacturers, are separated by just 13 points.

Get down on your knees and play

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
