We have taken a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000LT and turned it into an adventure style bike, ready to go anywhere!! This bike started off as more of the sport touring, but with many upgrades make it much more versatile. The obvious being the Continental TKC80 knobby tires giving more options to just paved roads. Traction control will help keep things under control on the dirt and gravel roads while still handling great on pavement. Other additions to the bike include SW-Motech skid plate, crash bars and Trax Evo aluminum side cases with Quick-lock side carrier mounting, MRA Vario Touring smoked adjustable wind screen, R&G Racing radiator screen. Garmin Montana 610 Navigator and Two Brothers Racing S1R Carbon Slip-on exhaust. Even with all the accessories this bike this bike comes in with a smaller price tag than a comparable KTM or BMW adventure bike with just as much fun to be had! It was a long time coming, but sidecar racer Conrad Harrison can add one accomplishment to his resume: Isle of Man TT winner. Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

Kawasaki Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results

Kawasaki reported a slight increase in sales while reducing the operating loss from its motorcycle and engine division during its fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. According to its year-end report, Kawasaki‘s motorcycle and engine business generated 235.2 billion yen (US$2.9 billion) in sales, a slight increase from the 234.4 million yen reported the year before. Kawasaki still suffered a loss from the division, though the loss of 2.959 million yen was still an improvement from the operating loss of 5.0 million yen reported the year prior.
