I am selling my 2010 KLR650E motorcycle. It has 27,150 miles mostly highway. I will continue to ride it to work on nice days.
I mostly commute to work on the interstate, have ridden on dirt road a few times. I am the second owner I bought it about 3 years ago. This bike has been very well maintained. It has been Garage kept and maintained since I purchased it. It has some normal scratches etc from normal wear. It has never been dropped since I've owned it. When I bought it the Plastic cowlings had some cracks and scratches so I repaired them and repainted them black. It also has black gorilla tape on the cowlings to help to prevent flapping of the tank mollies. This bike has been well cared for by me and is in excellent running condition. This bike is ready for any adventure anywhere, fully loaded, prepared for anything. In very nice condition for the year. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R 30th Anniversary Edition Revealed
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Kawasaki added a new limited edition 30th Anniversary Ninja model, revealing the 2015 ZX-14R in a special Firecracker Red and Metallic Graystone color scheme based on the colors of the original 1984 Ninja 900, the company’s first fully-faired sportbike. Kawasaki had previously announced 30th anniversary editions of the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, both bearing green livery remembering the company’s World Superbike and Supersport racers. Only 300 units of the limited edition Ninja ZX-14R will be produced for the U.S.
