Kawasaki Concours 14 description

One of the best sport-touring bikes around. I got a new job a year ago that cut into my riding, so I can't justify having a bike payment. Bought it in 2014 from an older guy who put the first 30,000 miles on it. Garage kept except for a few months while moving. Meticulously maintained; full synthetic oil every 5k, tires are almost new, most miles are interstate. Service records for all work. I've gone to Vermont and back in a weekend on this bike.

Upfits:
- Power Commander chip
- Two Brothers Racing exhaust
- Throttlemeister throttle lock
- Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires (~2k ridden, 10k tread rating)
- ABS (worth its weight in gold)
- Brand new battery

Concours specs:
- 1352cc Inline Four-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC
- Six-speed transmission
- Shaft drive
- Power adjustable windshield
- Stupid fast (133hp stock, plus the Power Commander)
- Keyless KIPASS ignition

There are a couple cosmetic dings from a moving trip, but she's never been dropped or abused.

Other, more nitty-gritty information:
Title Information: Vehicles title is clear, but currently held as collateral for the loan. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time I pay a vehicle off. Payment of the loan amount before pick-up is the best way to walk away with bike and title in hand. We can arrange you to pay the bank directly, and they will issue the clear title directly to you.

Shipping & Delivery:
All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. I will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. I assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves my garage. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with me.

Finalizing your Purchase:
Successful high bidder MUST communicate with selller within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If I cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, I reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller and banking institution that holds the lien.

Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Fri, 16 May 2014

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.

Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
