Kawasaki Ar80A description

Up for auction is my Kawasaki AR80 these a super rare and turn heads where ever you go! These bikes were omly in the USA for one year by kawasaki and itvwas there version of the Honda MB5 which was a 50 but kawasaki also did a 50 for one year but the 80 was the killer. Super hard to find one in this fine shape with all parts! Even the fairing! It is almost all original except for tires(which will need to be replaced do to age, sidewalls cracked). This bike has been sitting for years and I just put a new battery in her and replaced some bulbs. Taillight and brake work but headlight is burnt out. Previous owner ran bike without a battery and it blew out all bulbs. I believe it needs a turnsignals relay they come on but don't flash? Bike has had some repainting done and looks sharp. I get asked all the time "what is it"!! It would not take much to do a full restore if wanted of just make it the baddest little Street bike out there!. Like I said bike has been sitting for several years I just bought new battery and some bulbs got most stuff working horn, tach, speedo, brake,tIlight, etc. But wants to only run with choke on and will run with it off but poor throttle response. I believe carb needs cleaning from sitting. Tank had so e rust so I coated it with " caswells sealer" it's the best one out there. So tank is good to go in pictures the gas cap is not in place it's just a p!ug I have a new one ordered and will go with bike when sold. I have a no reserve to start and have priced it below what these go for when you can find one.(2500-2700) and that's with running problems or issues or incomplete. This is a solid motor with low miles just needs a little TLC to hit the pavement again! I just don't have time beyond what I've done so far. Please ask questions if needed. Won't crate but will work with your shipper to help get to you.
Includes owners booklet and Shop manual!!

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.
