1999 Honda Valkyrie on 2040-motos
Honda Valkyrie tech info
Honda Valkyrie description
I am selling my 1999 Honda Valkyrie; I have owned it for 6 years and I am the second owner. It has just over 17,000 miles; I have put 5000 miles on it since I have owned it. It runs great and has never given me any trouble; it goes down the road very nicely - no hesitations, no vibrations. The bike has always been adult owned and operated, and has never been raced, dropped, modified, or abused.
The battery was replaced 2 or 3 years ago, and so was the front tire at about the same time. The paint is in very good condition, with only a couple of small dings that one would basically have to look for in order to notice. The chrome is all in very nice shape with no rust or pitting. There are no leaks at all. Lights all work as they should. The left side cover (chromed plastic) has an issue with one of the hidden snaps, - it currently has some clear tape holding it on. The original yellow side covers will be included with the bike; the rear back rest/sissy bar is also included, along with some other misc. parts. Although this motorcycle is in very nice condition, I offer no guarantees at all. Shipping is up to the buyer. If you need further information or additional pictures, please let me know. |

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Groms
Fri, 27 Dec 2013We’re big fans of the Honda Grom, not just because of the grin-inducing experience it offers but also for its potential for customization. Just look at the RC-X Mini Vintage Racer for an example of the Grom’s ability to transform. MORE: Top 10 Modified Honda Groms It’s no surprise then that Honda would present some more special Groms for the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon, an annual showcase for automotive performance and customization similar to the SEMA show here in the U.S.
