This is a 1969 Honda Z50A Mini-Trail with many new parts. Runs and shifts good. 


New parts include:

-New tires and tubes, front and rear
-New brakes, front and rear
-New air filter
-New chain and sprockets
-New spark plug
-New fuel line and fuel filter

Points were cleaned and adjusted. Valves were adjusted. Carburetor was cleaned and tuned. Clutch was adjusted. Cam chain was adjusted. All work was performed by a licensed master motorcycle mechanic. Bike does not have a speedometer. Bike is missing headlight and taillight. Comes with fenders, chain guard and owner's manual (see pics). Seat cover has no rips or tears. Comes with working ignition switch and key. One handlebar has been welded. One handlebar knob is missing. Bike has quarter-turn quick throttle with custom cable. This bike would make a great beginning for a full restoration. It would also be good as a pit bike or camping bike. Gas tank is clean inside. Does not come with title, bill of sale only.

Honda reported a 41% decrease in net income over the third quarter, thanks primarily to the rising Japanese yen, continuing effects from the Japanese earthquake and floods in Thailand interrupting automobile production. Thanks to recovering auto sales and growing motorcycle sales in emerging markets, Honda reported a net profit of 47.6 billion yen (US$624 million) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011.

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
