Honda Shadow description
My loss is your gain...
I bought this new in 2012 and got one good ride out of it before I was in a pretty severe car accident (unrelated to the bike) that has left me with lasting back pain that has made it impossible for me to ride anymore. I had hope for years that I'd be able to get back on the road on this bike, but it just isn't going to happen. So the bike has sat in my shed, started up regularly but un-ridden. It only has 132 miles on it, mechanically it is basically brand new. It does have some light surface oxidation / rust on the pipes, fork covers and a few bolts but this is easily cleanable. My shed is unfortunately not climate controlled so it had access to some moisture over the years. All else is in pretty pristine shape. The bike has never been down, there is no damage, all electronics work and it starts right up every time. It comes with both the stock seat and the Mustang Wide Touring Two-Piece Vintage Seats that I added (Manufacturer Site). Currently only the Rider seat is installed but the passenger seat does come with the bike as well. This seat is far more comfortable than the stock and makes riding this bike a far more enjoyable affair. Even with the aftermarket seat, the seat height on this bike remains one of the lowest on the market so it should be comfortable and manageable for riders of just about any size. The stock flat black paint is beautiful. The stock foot forward low slung riding position is extremely comfortable. The bike is powerful enough to not leave you want while still being plenty manageable for newer riders. I especially recommend this bike to shorter riders such as myself. It is being sold as is with no warranty offered or implied. But as you can see from the photos and below video, it's good to go. The title is clear and it's ready to go to a new home. Buyer is responsible for any shipping arrangements/fees. Full payment required within 7 days of Auction End. This bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to close the auction early. Below is a video of the bike starting and running.
