Honda SL350 description

1971 Honda SL350. Very nice, mostly original condition. 12,800 miles. Some light scratches on the tank and fenders but way too nice to repaint, no dents. Inside of tank is clean and shiny. The side covers are new and were repainted. The color match is spot on. Great handlebars, gauges and switches. As you probably know, turn signals did not come on this model and have been added. All electrical works great. New battery and updated rectifier. Original exhaust is exceptional, no rust or dents, some minor scuffs. Original seat pan was badly rusted around the rim and has been welded. The repair is under the new seat cover and can't be seen. New correct tires, chain, points, headlight, taillight, cables, tool kit. Forks and brake components have been polished and epoxy clear coated. Some minor pitting on rims. Starts, runs and shifts good. Very minor oil leak from shift shaft seal. No engine smoke, noises or issues. Wood box is handy for groceries and held on with a wing nut, no holes drilled to mount it. Clear Title. A really sweet, rider quality SL350.

Honda’s New Documentary: Dreams vs Nightmares [trailer]

Wed, 24 Jun 2009

Honda have been releasing video documentaries on… well… everything!  Why?  Well to toot their own horn and remind you that Honda is crazy cool. Actually, their videos aren’t that bad, although somewhat dramatic.  I hunkered down and watched their “Failure: The Secret to Success” video and it held my attention. Their new video is titled “Dreams vs Nightmares”, which features a few notable people such as Clive Barker and Deepak Chopra.  I’m curious to see how they take this theme and use it to show how and why Honda creates and designs the products they make.

MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. The information will valuable data that will help shape the MSF’s rider education and rider training program and other safety initiatives. “Our priority with this research is to observe the participants on a day-to-day basis,” says Dr.

Is this Honda's inspiration for mass-centralisation

SORRY TO keep carpin’ on about porcelain bathroom products but this beauty, I think, is of great motorcycling significance. Feast on its elegant lines and classical, elegant beauty. Combining an integral hand basin (with a nifty electrically operated water pump in the cistern lid) this john not only provides ingenious space saving design techniques but also serves as a timely reminder to wash your hands once you’ve pointed Percy at the porcelain.
