Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Old Spice ad gets, er, spiced up

WE CAN'T believe an aftershave worn by most of our grandfathers is still on sale, or that people actually buy it, but Old Spice has given a new twist to their popular TV ad by including a motorcycle in the promo.The commercial stars former American football player Isaiah Mustafa and ends with, what looks like, a 1970s Honda twin in a jacuzzi.It's all completely bizarre but clever.

Honda Reports Q1 2013-2014 Results

Honda reported sales of 4.05 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2013, a 3.7% increase from the 3.91 million motorcycles sold in the same period last year. The increase in motorcycle sales resulted in 396.8 billion yen (US$4.04 billion) in sales revenue, a 14.4% increase on 346.6 billion yen in revenue reported in the same quarter the previous fiscal year. Overall, Honda‘s reported a combined revenue of 2.83 trillion yen from all its operations, a 398.1 billion yen improvement from last year.
