Honda Magna description

Beautiful 1994 Honda Magna sporting racing stripes and lots of customizations. Starts right up every time. New battery, new shocks (to match paint), custom light bar, USB ports w/ cigarette lighter, after-market pipes (sounds great for a v4) after-market handlebars, air horn, chrome side panels (stock red ones avail), custom front fairing included (local sale only) - needs installation mods, custom seat, custom license plate bracket and rear turn signals, highway pegs, and low mileage at just over 8k. Not bad for a 94 and you won't find many or any with that low of miles in 2016.  Great bike for any rider, caution should be used for beginners as these bikes are fast.  Mileage will increase as I will take for rides until sold. Free and clear title in hand. Sold as is.

Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
