Honda CH150D description

1985 Honda CH150D  "Elite Deluxe" Scooter.   An extremely well-preserved scooter from Honda!  I bought this 5 years ago to work my way up to a real bike and it's been a fantastic member of our stable.  It's been pampered with synthetic oil, Startron fuel treatment to counteract ethanol, regular checkups, and its always garaged and on the battery tender (which comes with it).  Everything (except for the auto-flip upfront headlight and the clock) works perfectly.   The older gentleman that I bought it from disabled the auto headlight feature, and I never looked into it, but it may still work.  It'll do 60mph if your really asking for it and are around 150-160lbs.  My daughter has got as good as 90mpg riding it, and I routinely get 70+mpg.  It's a great city scooter with enough power to cruise the state routes (55mph routes).  I added a GIVI rear box that took a tumble off the scooter one day (see pics).  Its a great commuter and the only reason for selling is I have another larger scooter and a cafe racer project in the works.   I would say this is one of the nicest around.  Matching Michelin tires.. rear is 2 years old and has less than 1k on it, front is 5 years old and is great condition.  Tool kit and Honda service manual included.   Regular Final drive oil changes and coolant flushes.   Easy to work on and maintain and extremely practical!  New brakes last year too!   Cosmetically very nice for 31 years - a couple scratches on front upper fairing by turn signal, GIVI box scratched, and windshield has discoloration.

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Hot on-board laps of Cadwell with Josh Brookes

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

You've got to be reasonably mental to ride a 200bhp Superbike on slicks around the narrow cart track that is Cadwell Park. We've met Josh Brookes a few times and we can vouch that he qualifies highly for the task in hand. That's a compliment, by the way.
