Honda C70 tech info
Honda C70 description
Hello everyone, thank you for taking a look at my listing for a 1982 Honda C70 scooter bike.
Currently, the bike isn't running because it needs the carbs clean. It has sat for 2 years now and i forgot to turn the gas valve close before letting it sit. The bike has 6571 miles on it. Overall the bike is in good condition for its age. This would make a great restoration project base. There are some cracks in the plastic (see photos) but nothing major. Before I let the bike sit for two years, I got new tires, brakes, chain, spark plug on it. Tires are now flat. Just needs a little love. I got the bike 3 years ago from a G.I. who was based in Japan. He brought the bike over to the states when he came back. With that said, the bike has a clean Washington State Title in hand and ready to sign over. Willing to ship it but it'll be up to the buyer to arrange shipping. I can assist with loading. I don't want to sell it but I just don't have time to ride it anymore. Hope it goes to a good home. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. |

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?
Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
Casey Stoner Testing The Honda RC213V At Motegi – Video
Fri, 09 Aug 2013Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.
