THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE FLHX . THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN AUGUST. IT HAS A CLEAR TITLE. THE BIKE RAN MINT WITH ONLY APPROX 18K MILES ON IT. IT APPEARS THAT THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DAMAGE. THERE IS SOME ROAD RASH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PRIMARY COVER BUT THAT WAS THERE BEFORE ACCIDENT FROM CORNERING. THE FRAME SEEMS TO BE GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE REAR FENDER MOUNTING AREA THAT COULD BE STRAIGHTENED. THE FUEL TANK ONLY HAS A COUPLE OF REAL SMALL DIME SIZE DINGS. STOCK PARTS ARE VERY CHEAP AND EASY TO BUY FOR THIS MODEL BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE CUSTOMIZE THEM. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT REBUILD PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A STREET GLIDE AT A FAIR PRICE OR THE BEGINNING OF A CUSTOME RIDE. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
