Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic, Shriners Model, very good condition, midnight blue...paint very good, has a small ding on the back of the front fender from a golf ball. The tour pack is detachable and provides plenty of storage space for those long trips. The bike has 4 speakers that sound great and the radio is wired for XM. The tires are new, less than 300 miles and the battery is new, 1 month. The bike has a genuine HD cover included in the sale, cost $125 new. Recent tune up including new plugs, synthetic oil, oil filter, and cleaned the K & N air filter. Adult owned and maintained.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Harley-Davidson reported 15.9%  increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
