Custom show bike 2012 Harley Street Glide FLHX with 26 inch wheel!!
This bike will make your friends envious, right up to your local bar on this beauty and you will be the hit of the night. This bike originally started as a stock 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide purchased in December 2012 from Naples Harley Davidson. It was stripped-down with 975 miles to start it's journey. The neck was cut and a 9 Degree Yaffe neck block and 9 degree HHI trees were added. All wiring was one through the frame and neck. A custom-made one-of-a-kind Thompson 26 inch KELOWNA wheel was edge cut to accent the front. The factory front faring was custom raked to accommodate the new rake, a brow was also added to the top of it, along with flush LED turn signals. Next the shock tank was stretched using a Pickard tank extension, extended side covers and 4" extended bags and fenders finished off the back. 6.5" bag lids were added to accommodate for the new sound system. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
