Harley-Davidson Touring description
Up for auction is my 2008 HD Ultra Classic with Hannigan Sidecar. The kids are older now so they ride on the back of my other bike. Bike has a few scuffs here and there from riding with the kids but overall it is in great shape. Stator was replaced last summer. Bike runs great. Sidecar is a Hannigan and also is in great shape. Lid comes off (stores behind seat) and windshield remains for passenger protection whether that be the your Dog, Kids, or SO. I have added LED lighting inside the sidecar on a switch and it also has a 12 volt outlet for playing music or watching movies. Sidecar has a large trunk for plenty of storage for those long trips and comes with a full cover. I also changed the sidecar headlight to an LED light. Only problem known with the sidecar is a crack on the SIDE of the windshield (shown in photos) on the m/c side. NOTE: I WOULD LIKE TO SELL JUST THE SIDECAR AS I WOULDN'T MIND KEEPING THE BIKE. PRICE FOR SIDECAR ONLY WOULD BE $2,000.00 and I would take pictures as I remove it from the bike. To purchase just the sidecar would require a deposit of half the cost prior to removing from the bike. Feel free to email me with any questions or offer on the sidecar. This rig is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally. The buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up, however, I will assist as much as I can and would be willing to deliver within 100 miles. |

Wed, 09 Apr 2014Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America
Wed, 10 Aug 2011Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
