Harley-Davidson Touring description

I recently purchased this bike. I had local HD mechanic go through it and repair clutch and starting system. Bike starts, runs and drives.  Carburetor needs work.  Bike drives well until you roll throttle over half way. The bike will stutter at that point. I did not have him do any more to bike at this point. I bought a custom chopper while this Road Glide was in his shop and need the money to pay it off.

The story is this bike was in storage for the last 17 years.
Bike is in good shape for the age. Radio works as does most all items.  Starter button was installed due to handle bar starter button was inop.  Mileage is actual according to previous owner.
Road Glide has new clutch installed by my mechanic.  Tires are good but old. Bags have locking latches and comes with the key. Bike comes with ignition key also.
Bike is sold as is where is.  I will work with who ever purchases this bike in storing it while pick up is being arranged.
Thank you for looking.

Zero Motorcycles announced a new network of eight dealerships as the electric motorcycle company begins the transition from an online-based sales model to a traditional showroom sales model. Until now, Zero conducts its sales over the Internet with the help of a system of Independent Representatives around the country who use a handful of demo models instead of actual inventory to showcase the brand. As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
