This is absolutely one of the nicest Shovelheads around! It has a 93'' S&S Crate Engine, Baker polished 6 speed overdrive tranny, it has kick and electric start, primary belt drive, independent dual exhaust, electronic ignition, 2'' over chrome front end, beach bars and nice red metallic paint. The bike has 6,000 miles on it since being torn down and redone, the engine and trans only have 4,000 miles on them. This bike starts, runs and shifts excellent, its ready to ride. I have owned it 16 years and have always kept it in my heated garage. I hate to sell it, but I just don't ride it much anymore. My reserve is less than what I paid for the engine & trans, somebody is going to get a great deal on this bike. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
New Screamin’ Eagle Drag Racing Championship Series for 2013
Mon, 06 Aug 2012The NHRA today announced the formation of the Screamin’ Eagle Championship Motorcycle Series for 2013. The new series will feature five classes: Top Fuel, Pro Gas, Draggin’ Bagger, Street Pro and Hot Street. The 10-race series will compete at divisional events as part of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, in addition to the Sportsman ET Motorcycle class that currently competes at various NHRA divisional events.
Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
