"The Bob Martin Special" I rode this bike on the badger amca ride in Wisconsin last August. Very well mannered and just a joy to cruise on. Bob built this bike for himself as he remembered them as he graduated high school in 1958. Lots of chrome! Please feel under no obligation to ask questions. Very well built and solid motorcycle. This bike was restored by Bob at his motorcycle shop in longmont , Colorado in 1981. Authorized dealer for Harley-davidson, Triumph, and Yamaha. He was also Norton dealer until the end! Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
