Harley-Davidson XLCR description

Selling my 1977 Harley Davidson XLCR.  This is a rare motorcycle, designed by Willie G. Davidson during the AMF era.  Production was less than 2000 units.   This is a solid, unrestored example.  It isn't a perfect show bike, but it would need very little to be-and is priced accordingly.   The bike features the following.

* S&S Supercarb with automatic choke, completely hidden.
* original carb and manifold included.
* 1 up and 2 up seats, both in good shape.
* foot peg and no foot peg rear axle.
* new Dunlop tires.
* 4105 miles on the odometer.

I've put almost 3000 miles on this motorcycle since 2012.   It's a good runner, especially with the upgraded carb.  Drive it as is or restore it to a trailer queen.  It's a solid bike and everything to return it to bone stock is included.

The bike also comes with the Franklin Mint collectible knife and Franklin mint collectible pocket watch, in new condition in original boxes.  It also comes with an owner's manual and service manual and a small display model.  See the last picture.

I will need a 500 dollar deposit via paypal within 48 hours of auction close and the rest of the funds VERIFIED in my account (Cashier's check-deposited and cleared) before the bike will be released to you or your transporter (which you will arrange).  Save the scams, I've seen them all.   Good luck and happy bidding.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
