I'm selling my 2006 Harley Davidson VRod (V-Rod) for $8,500. The 2006 model was the only year the controls were not placed in the front. The bike has little over 7k miles. Great bike in excellent condition and fun to ride. Absolutely a beautiful bike.

Raked way out there, with a 38-degree fork angle, forward controls and pull back welded handlebars, drag-style aluminum disc wheels and chrome slash-cut exhaust, the V-Rod is one unmistakable motorcycle. The scooped-out seat is just 26 inches off the ground. Dual slash-cut chrome exhaust pipes deliver the wound-out song of a high-performance Revolution V-Twin. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
