For sale is a custom profesional handbuilt chopper 2003. The bike has a strong 96" C.I. Evolution S&S Super Stock motor. It has a new battery, a new clutch, a new side cover and has a kick start. It has a Le Pera Seat. The bike also has an S&S Super E "Shorty" carburetor. The back tire is like new. Bike is loud and is a nice ride for a a hardtail. Typical wear and marks from road use. Chrome is not perfect. Bike is sold as is. Title is clear. Would be a great starter bike. Able to crate and ship freight for an additional cost to be determined with purchase.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
