Up for auction is a 1972 Harley Davidson FX Super-Glide Boat tail. I Have owned this bike since 1996. It is an older restoration, but still looks nice. I had electric start added when I purchased the bike as I intended to ride it. Some of the chrome is original and showing its age (see pics). There are a couple of chips in the rear fender, and some cracks in the seat cover. The bike has been in storage in a climate controlled warehouse for a decade or more. It will be fully serviced before the time of pickup. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. I will be happy to answer with the best of my ability.
A $500 paypal deposit will be required within 48 hours of the auction's end. The balance will be paid in cash at the time of pickup. I will accept other payments as long as the funds clear before the bike leaves my shop. I have sold several bikes to Japan and Australia and will be happy to assist in any way I can. Fri, 24 Jan 2014Las Vegas Harley-Davidson broke ground yesterday on a full-line Harley-Davidson dealership on the famed Las Vegas Strip. A custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle celebrating the state’s 150th anniversary was revealed as part of the event, along with details on how one lucky rider will win it at the store’s grand opening. Harley-Davidson owners from around the city flocked to the site as Las Vegas Harley-Davidson President Don Andress and Vice President Timothy Cashman discussed the new location and, along with Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval, unveiled a custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle.

I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make this Harley-Davidson replica but I am sure he is well compensated. Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
