I bought this machine from the son of a Vietnam Veteran in Charleston, SC. He told me his father bought this Servicar and customized it 38 years ago. It hadn't been started in a few years. I brought it home, changed the fluids, cleaned the carb, replaced the spark plugs and battery, and it started right up. I have ridden it a couple of hundred miles. It rides good at 45 or 50 mph, but more than that is scary. It is very dependable. I have more toys than time or money. It was a tough decision between this trike and my '61 Duo but I love my Pan so here it is. I made a short video of a start-up today 6/11/16. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

Harley-Davidson has not yet had large engines in terms of capacity and power. This behemoth, which looks like a work of modern technoart, is called the Screamin' Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131.
