1956 Harley Davidson FL - Completely restored. My brother in law has owned this bike for 20 plus years - he did a ground up restoration on it 10-15 years ago and has only ridden it very sparingly since then. It has just over 5500 miles on it since the restoration. The bike was just taken to Thunder Bay motorcycle shop in Tampa to have it freshen up including: the fuel system cleaned, carb rebuilt and a new battery (I have the receipt for all of the work - almost $600 worth of work was done to the bike). My brother in law has some health issues now and can't ride anymore so I am selling this bike for him and and my sister. The bike runs and drives just like it should. It is ready to ride and enjoy. Asking $28,500.00 CASH or Bank Wire Transfer for the bike. It has a clear Florida title in my brother in laws name. We are not interested in any trades. Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
