Harley-Davidson EL description

This bike has been my pride and joy.
This bike has been in my possession for 20 years,  It is original cases are EL 1938.  And Harley museum helped me in the correct paint code for the Red, Black and Gold.

She is now 71" and 12v.   But you would not know.

Every thing works perfect.     Even the speedometer is 1938 only.

Take a look... if you know what your looking at, then you know what it is.

please... don't lowball me... I have lots of original spare parts too.  Including the windshield and skirt.

Kicks over every time.   The primary was changed to belt - the bike is built to ride, and she runs great.

Elvis' Harley

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.

Most Obvious Press Release Of 2013: Biker Chicks Sexier Than Pedestrians

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.
