Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Street Bob, a factory homage to bob-jobs of the past and one of six Dynas in The Motor Company's lineup for 2006. The carbureted, 1340cc Evolution V-Twin that powered the Sturgis has long since given way to the fuel-injected, 1450cc Twin Cam 88, further refined this year with a host of internal improvements, but, overall, the on-the-road experience is much the same.

Startup is immediate, and the black-powdercoated engine (matching the console, battery box and belt guard) settles almost as quickly into an even idle. Regardless of rpm, throttle response is hiccup-free. Output is sufficient for getting away first from stoplights but never intimidating. This is a most pleasant and charismatic powerplant.

Right up there with the engine in terms of user-friendliness—if not spiritual presence—are the new six-speed Cruise Drive transmission and easy-squeeze clutch. The first-gear “clunk” remains, as Harley intended, and the throws are positive. I never missed a shift.

This Harley is a 1 owner & truly bad to the bone looking HD.  Garage kept & washed after every ride and you can tell!  Not a blemish or scratch to be found.

2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.

Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
