Yamaha YZF-R description

I'm selling my 2015 Yamaha R6 Raven black edition. The bike is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures above. I put the Nada Guides value on the bike in the last picture above. The bike is valued at around $9,200 for an average retail price. I purchased it new in 2015 so I am the only owner.

Mileage: 11k (will stay where it is for now)
The bike is pretty much stock except for a few aftermarket parts.
Tinted windshield
Fender eliminater
Flush mount blinkers
Ram mount (for cell phones)

Also including my Icon Variant helmet ($400 value) with mirrored visor and AGV gloves with carbon knuckles. The helmet is pictured a couple times above as well.

ALL maintenance has been kept up with this bike consistently. I've only ever ran premium 93 octane gasoline in it and changed oil regularly. (10w-40 full synthetic)
Chain is serviced regularly as well.

All of the miles were put on from commuting to work and around town. I don't ride wheelies or do any crazy stunts. The bike has been well taken care of and treated with care.

Thanks for looking!

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Thu, 17 May 2012

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December,  will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.
