2012 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , I bought the bike brand new, and have always kept the bike in my garage when not in use. It had a proper break in period from 0 miles to 500 miles, and no one else but me has driven the bike. Upgrades: New Two Brothers M2 V.A.L.E. Carbon Fiber Black edition Slip-on exhaust, Carbon Fiber Shogun Frame Sliders, Proton Flush mount LED turn signals/running lights, Very clean looking Fender Eliminator Kit, BRO racing filter, and a tank pad that matches everything (bike) perfectly! Tires of course are still brand new (800 miles on them), and the bike was never romped on, and it has NEVER been laid over. Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.
Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.

Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode. Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.
