The 2012 World GP 50th Anniversary Edition celebrates Yamahas racing heritage with Pearl White / Rapid Red livery. It includes a 50th Anniversary emblem on top of the fuel tank and a special numbered plate showing the production number of only 1,500 units that where produced world wide. This one is number 468!!! It has had all of the following added on: A HotBodies double bubble Blacked out windscreen, Flush mounted Smoke Led Front Turn Signals, and a Smoked out undertail from HotBodies, with Led Blinkers molded into the under tail. and a license plate relocation bracket. I purchased this bike brand new 4 months ago, it has been kept in the garage everyday and night. It is in Showroom condition with no scratches. Larry Pegram To Race EBR 1190RX In 2014 AMA Superbike
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Larry Pegram and Erik Buell Racing will be partnering up in 2014 to race an EBR 1190RX in AMA Superbike. This will be Pegram’s third different OEM in as many years, as he rode a Yamaha last year, BMW before that and Ducati in 2011. Supporting Pegram will be his long-time title sponsor, Foremost Insurance Group, along with EBR sponsors AMSOIL and Hero MotoCorp.

Tue, 23 Apr 2013The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.

Wed, 01 Feb 2012Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
