The 2012 World GP 50th Anniversary Edition celebrates Yamahas racing heritage with Pearl White / Rapid Red livery. It includes a 50th Anniversary emblem on top of the fuel tank and a special numbered plate showing the production number of only 1,500 units that where produced world wide. This one is number 468!!! It has had all of the following added on: A HotBodies double bubble Blacked out windscreen, Flush mounted Smoke Led Front Turn Signals, and a Smoked out undertail from HotBodies, with Led Blinkers molded into the under tail. and a license plate relocation bracket. I purchased this bike brand new 4 months ago, it has been kept in the garage everyday and night. It is in Showroom condition with no scratches. The event is the first of a three-race series that will crown overall champions in two individual race classes: Pro Superbike and Dynojet Pro Sportbike. The Superbike Shootout is a three-race series meant to fill the long void in the AMA Pro Roadracing schedule between round one at Daytona and the second round at Road America.
AMA Superbike Racer Larry Pegram To Race On Four Wheels This Weekend
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing SuperBike rider Larry Pegram will be back in racing action this weekend but, instead of being aboard his familiar #72 Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike, Larry will be behind the wheel of a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink. The PRO Buggy class features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. Pegram is no stranger to car racing, having done a few road racing events last year, but he’s excited about the opportunity to kick up some mud this weekend at RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI, as part of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series.
