Yamaha YZF-R description

2010 R1 in better than mint condition. Only has currently 750 miles. This bike has brand spanking new carbon fiber Akrapovic slip ons, Vortex frame sliders, integrated tail light/blinkers fender eliminator, and the ECU has been reflashed making a HUGE difference in throttle response & power. Never laid down, never dropped, no scratches, and no rock chips. Not even a key mark on the triple tree cap which is usually the first thing I notice on whether or not a bike has been taken care of. First service was just done. This thing sounds like a demon! This bike belongs to a extremely anal & OCD owner and has never been tracked or raced. If I didn't already own a bike, I would certainly buy this one. Stand pictured is not included but stock exhaust and stock rear fender is included as well as Hotbodies flush mount front signals new in the package never installed.

Title in hand for a quick & painless sale. If you don't have the money to buy please do not bid. I may be able to help with delivery this coming labor day weekend if you're in SC or NC.

Yamaha 350LC ProAm, Mallory Park 1981

Thu, 26 Aug 2010

So Kenny Roberts Jnr think traction control is ruining racing? Having watched this 1981 ProAm race from Mallory Park, I'm forced to agree. Racing should be a spectacle.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
