Yamaha YZF-R description

2009 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , I am selling my 09 R1 basically because I never have the chance to ride it I have two bikes and this one just doesn't get the attention it deserves. Bike has never been down it is in mint condition. It is a really awesome bike to ride with incredible power through the gears. It is smooth in the corners and pulls nicely. It also has three different modes witch helps tone down this cross plane motor when just cruising around on the street. I have had no issues with this bike it has been great to me. Currently the battery is dead if serious about buying I will toss a new battery in with no issue at all. Call text E-Mail Tristan 651-428-9489. $7,700.00 6514289489

Yamaha Announces AMA Road Racing Teams For 2013

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, has announced its U.S. road racing teams to compete in the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Racing season, which kicks off in March at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Superbike In the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike division, Yamaha is fielding “Team Josh,” as three-time and defending class champion, Josh Hayes once again teams up with Josh Herrin, the 2012 AMA Rookie of the Year. Despite setting single-season records for the most SuperBike wins, the most consecutive SuperBike wins, and the most SuperBike poles, the elder Josh hasn’t lost any of his competitive fire. During the off-season, Josh signed a two-year contract to stay with Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha because he loves the team and he still feels that he’s got a lot of unfinished business to attend to.

The perfect classified advert

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

Forget “One careful owner, low mileage, full service history” – when it comes to penning classifieds we can all learn from Kyle Miller and Joe Strachila who’ve plundered their marketing genius to come up with the best scooter advert we’ve ever seen. The pair, from Seattle, became an internet sensation last year when they created a hyperbole-packed ad for $700-worth of frankly rubbish 1995 Pontiac Grand-Am. Now they’ve pulled the same trick to get rid of a Y2K Yamaha SH50 (the comically-named ‘Razz’), advertising it on Cragslist as “the fulfilment of your wildest fantasies”.

Yamaha is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its SR series with a special edition model in Japan. Produced in limited numbers, the 35th Anniversary Edition Yamaha SR400 offers an exclusive leaf green metallic color, special badging and, in an unusual gesture, a lower price than the base model. The original SR500 was introduced in 1978 as a street-focused version of the Yamaha XT500.
