This bike is in good condition and runs great.
It has a custom muffler with awesome sound. The bike has a +2 gear change in the rear sprocket and a 520 chain. The custom muffler and chain make the bike about 20lbs lighter. The bike also has ASV brake levers, a brand new battery, a rear seat, and a racing cowl. There are two small scratches: one on right lower fender and one on the tail. The title is clean and on hand. Police Catch Up with Motorcycle Doing 185 mph in YouTube Video
Fri, 20 Apr 2012Authorities in British Columbia, Canada, have impounded a 2006 Yamaha R1 believed to have starred in a YouTube video reaching speeds of 299 kph (185 mph) on a freeway. The onboard video, embedded after the jump, captures the Yamaha weaving through traffic, and often lane-splitting between other vehicles, covering a 4.67 mile stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in about a minute and 56 seconds. That translates to an average speed of 144.6 mph.

Tue, 15 Jan 2013We’re just over two weeks into the new year which means it’s time for MotoGP teams to start the promotional push for their 2013 MotoGP programs. Ducati is set to reveal its Desmosedici GP13 today at its annual Wrooom ski event with Ferrari‘s Formula One team later today, but Yamaha has gotten the jump on its Italian rival by releasing new photographs and a video of ex-Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo. Also revealed is the 2013 Yamaha M1, though the racebike is shrouded in graphical overlays of its pilots and devoid of any sponsor logos including the newly signed supporter Monster Energy.
