Yamaha YZF-R description

Beautiful, Custom, Yamaha R-1. This bike is in near Mint condition. You couldn't ask for better condition from a 2002. Always well maintained and kept up since the beginning. This bike has ridiculously low miles on it for a 2002 (7650)! Almost this entire bike is custom and attracts alot of compliments. Below is a list of mods, and features of the bike:

Custom Exhaust (Under Seat!). Custom Graphics kit. Steering Dampener. Custom brake handles. Custom hand grips. Hid headlights. Engine Gaurds. Custom Chain Gaurd.

This bike also has a few new things done to it such as: Brand New tires (only 100 miles on them). Also just had the gas tank completeley cleaned out and fuel lines cleaned out.

There's not much to not like about this bike, it's awesome. Wish I didn't need to get rid of it.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.

Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

In what may be a first for a Japanese manufacturer, Yamaha will be exporting motorcycles produced in India to its home market. Yamaha is shipping 300 units the YZF-R15 to Japan to test the market’s appetite for the 150cc sport bike. The R15 is manufactured by India Yamaha Motor at its plant in Surajpur, India.
