Up for auction is a 1976 Yamaha yz 250 in excellent condition. Runs and rides great, shifts great. Has been in storage since about 2000 and looks to be a low hour bike. Has aftermarket fenders with the front one being a Preston petty and the rear a KW, both are in decent condition. The tank has one dent(pictured) and a few paint chips that are roughly filled in(pictured). The seat is in mint condition. No rust on bike. I do have the original title to the bike. 2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
Snow riding and my new LC
Mon, 21 Jan 2013I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
