You are bidding on a beautiful, in excellent condition with original miles, 1981 Yamaha XT 500. This bike was a nostalgic purchase with the goal in mind to have a retirement toy. Next thing, live happened! Before it sits in the garage collecting dust, I'd rather find it a new home. That thumper likes to purr.
The bike is original except for the carburetor. Recent oil change done. It is currently tagged and starts on the first 3 kicks running like a charm. With it comes a slew of parts, i.e. 12V conversion kit, new set of tires/tubes, maintenance manual, gasket set, shaft seals, progressive springs and other bits and pieces totaling close to $500 Title is clear and free. AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.

The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

Wed, 26 Feb 2014With the absence of Marc Marquez from the second Sepang MotoGP test, due to a broken leg suffered in a training accident, another Honda rider took his place at the top of the time sheets, though it’s not who you might think. Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda set the fastest time at the end of the first day with a 2:00.848. The time is 1.3 second slower than the fastest time Marquez set at the last Sepang test.
