1981 Yamaha XS 1100 Special 80's Super bike This bike is a blast to ride, Very smooth engine and drive shaft, 95 Horse power advertised when new. Low miles 6841 and is in Excellent Condition for its age, small nicks and scratches, some show in pictures some do not. Oil changed, have New Michelin Commander II tires with 150 miles. Vintage Vetter Fairing and Trunk complete with all Mounting brackets, Manual with instructions, Keys and wiring, was on bike when I bought it. Everything works, Starts, Runs, shifts and clutches as it should, has excellent throttle response with the CV Carbs. Please review my pictures and ask any questions you may have, review my feedback as seller ,( I have no intention to mislead anyone.) Yamaha Gets Monster Energy MotoGP Team Sponsorship, Annuls Lorenzo’s RockStar Sponsorship Deal
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Yamaha has reportedly signed energy drink maker Monster Energy to sponsor its factory MotoGP team, according to Spanish site MotoCuatro.com. The new sponsorship deal created a bit of a problem however, as Yamaha‘s star rider Jorge Lorenzo recently signed a two-year contact extension to his personal sponsorship deal with RockStar, a rival energy drink maker. To get around this sticky situation, MotoCuatro reports Yamaha will invoke a clause in Lorenzo’s contract allowing the manufacturer to veto and buy out his RockStar contract.
